Continuing Education

Who Should Attend: This presentation is intended for lactation consultants, nurses, CNM, CPNP, WHNP, physicians, dietitians, community health workers, doulas and all healthcare professionals or group support leaders who support breastfeeding dyads.

Continuing Education: Lactation Consultants: This program has been approved for 6 L CERPs from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners, Inc. (IBLCE).
Nurses: This activity has been approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing through the OBN Approver Unit at the Health Alliance (OBN-007-92) for 6.2 contact hours.

Attendance at entire activity on Friday and completion of evaluation form is required for credit.

A great deal of start up funding for OBA has been given as grant monies from TSBA funds. TSBA is committed to helping fund OBA as it grows into a self supported organization. TSBA has been around longer than many of the other coalition groups in Ohio and thus has been able to help other smaller groups out financially from time to time. Helping to fund phone lines for La Leche League , start up funds for hospitals trying to start human milk feeding programs, and physician education programs, are just a few of the ways TSBA uses funds it raises. Bringing speakers in from around the world and the most respected and best in their fields is what we have built our reputation on. We look forward to being able to continue to support other Breastfeeding related groups and projects through out Ohio. Doing conferences that provide diverse peer perspective's is one of the founding concepts TSBA was started on, and supporting and protecting breastfeeding as the ideal start for all infants is one of our goals. We welcome you to this years offering. We know you will enjoy our speakers and we look forward to being able to bring you even more in the future.
